PRAVAH 2026: Celebrating the Flow of Art

Exhibition of 25 artists come together at AIFACS for a vibrant celebration of painting, sculpture and photography

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 5: The fourth edition of PRAVAH 2026, curated by Pankaj Nigam, opened at the All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS), New Delhi, bringing together 25 artists working across painting, sculpture and photography.

The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent painter Prof. Paramjeet Singh, former Principal of the College of Art, Delhi, and former Chairman of AIFACS, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest. and Dr. Ved Prakash Bhardwaj were the Guests of Honour.

The opening ceremony also featured a soulful sitar recital by Srimonto Mazumdar, adding a musical dimension to the celebration of visual art.

PRAVAH 2026, being held from September 4 to 10, goes beyond a conventional group exhibition, bringing together art, music, poetry and dialogue. The programme includes SAMWAD, featuring conversations with senior artists, and NAVPRAVAH, presenting five emerging artists.

The exhibition will also pay tribute to celebrated poet Kunwar Narayan on the centenary of his birth and remember photographer and artist Deepankar Roy, who passed away on July 10, 2026. His book STILL HERE will be presented during the exhibition.

Poetry will take centre stage on September 9 with RACHNA, featuring poetess Anupam Singh, poet Adnan Kafeel Darvesh and other poets.

At its heart, PRAVAH celebrates art as an ever-flowing journey—where different ideas, generations and creative voices come together to create a larger artistic dialogue.
